
On Friday Mrs Emme hosted another live painting session! Life skills has created a wall of art, and will add a new painting at the change of seasons! We also had blueberry muffins that were made by Ava! A well deserved fun Friday to end off 1st quarter. Go Ducks!

Unfortunately, due to a low number of sign-ups, the American Red Cross fall blood drive scheduled for Thursday, October 24th, at Havana High School has been cancelled. A new date will be set for this spring in hopes of having the blood drive at that time. Go Ducks!

Today, New Central learned about how to say "NO" to drugs, peer pressure, and strangers. They decorated leaves with what words to say, as well as, their face when they say it.

HS Boys Basketball will be holding a player/parent meeting on Tuesday, October 29th, at 6 PM in the HS library for all those student-athletes interested in playing basketball this season. Those attending should enter the main doors by the HS office. The gym foyer will be reserved for those attending the HS girls volleyball regional that is being hosted by Havana High School that week. FCA Students decorated the sidewalks outside the high school in honor of Red Ribbon Week! Go Ducks!


The HHS cross country team wrapped up their regular season tonight at Emiquon. It was a fantastic evening for a race, and our runners gave it their all. Earning medals tonight for the Ducks were Deagan Brown (5th), Korey Hurst (7th), and Karlie Hurst (5th). Go Ducks!




Day 1 of Red Ribbon Week - New Central students sat in grade level assemblies to learn about the purpose of the week, discuss the meaning of the Red Ribbon pledge, and had an opportunity to sign the pledge banner.

Tonight the 6th Grade Girls Basketball Team will play Porta at 5:00 with a regular JH Girls Basketball Game to follow at 6:00 & 7:00 against Porta! Good Luck Ducks!!

The HHS cross country team will wrap up its regular season with a home meet this evening at 4:30 p.m. The boys and girls will run a combined race at Emiquon Nature Preserve. Once the race is over, we will honor our one senior, Deagan Brown. Go Ducks!


Kasyn Jibben placed 31st out of 220 runners today at the 2A Girls IESA State Cross Country Meet! Great season Kasyn! Thanks to her teammates/friends for coming to cheer her on. Go Ducks!
