The HHS Interior Design class put all the donated bottle caps to good use. They made a vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles for one of Havana's local business, Peaches. It looks great! A big thank you to Mr. Frashier's Shop Class for helping cut the wood and build the stand for the ice cream cone. It was much appreciated! Go get some Peaches and take a photo. Go Ducks!

Just a reminder that today is an Early Dismissal for Havana CUSD 126. The JH releases at 1:50pm, the HS at 1:55 and New Central at 2:05. No School Friday, 4/18 and Monday, 4/21. We will see everyone back on Tuesday, 4/22. Happy Easter!
Students in Foods 2 are in the Dairy Unit. They did a cheese tasting of all different types of cheeses. Alex Oxendine volunteered to try all the cheeses and guess which cheese is what. He guessed every cheese correctly. He is a cheese whiz! Students are excited to make homemade ice cream, prepare for the 2nd annual Grilled Cheese competition, as well as make their own butter.
