Due to the extended cold temperatures forecasted, Havana #126 will be closed Tuesday, January 21st. A decision for evening activities will be made later in the day. Stay safe!

The winter season continues to remind us of its presence, with extremely cold temperatures expected tomorrow. We believe that by taking a few extra precautions and making slight adjustments to our morning plans, we can ensure everyone's safety and maintain attendance at school. Here are some suggestions to help prepare for cold weather: Bundle Up: Make sure children are dressed warmly with hats, gloves, scarves, and multiple layers of clothing to protect against the cold. Plan Ahead for Transportation: If driving or walking to school, allow extra time for travel and ensure vehicles are prepared for cold starts. Keep Informed: Check for updates from the school in case there are any schedule adjustments. Bus: Students may wait indoors until the bus is visible before heading to the stop to minimize their time in the cold. Keep in mind that a little extra time at each stop may cause slightly later arrival times. If you are experiencing any challenges getting students to school or choose to keep them home due to weather, please contact the school office to let us know. We are committed to supporting a safe and smooth morning for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.
