Students in Foods 2 are in the Meat Unit. First, they learned about beef and what cuts came from what part of the cow. Then, they did a fun shaving cream experiment to help remember the different sections of the cow and label them correctly. The students made homemade pizza calzones with Italian sausage, stewed tomatoes, green peppers, onions and other spices and herbs. Students made homemade dough for the calzone. It all turned out delicious!! Students voted this their favorite lab, but still have a lot more labs ahead. Go Ducks!
