HS flag tryouts start this evening for all those students interested in HS flags next school year (24-25). Practices for the tryouts will be at the Havana Junior High School band room/gym from 6:30-7:30 PM. Those practices continue at the same time on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Then, tryouts will officially begin at 2 PM on Thursday, March 28th. Contact band director and flags sponsor, Amanda Wiegers, with any additional questions. Go Ducks!

Due to the cold weather, the HS boys baseball games scheduled for today at Tremont have been cancelled. Ducks next game is Wednesday at Knoxville. Go Ducks!

JH cheer tryouts may last a little longer and finish up around 6 PM tonight. Tryouts will be in the JH gym and girls will be able to contact parents as they finish up their tryout to stay informed for a more accurate pickup time. Go Ducks!

This weekend is the Spring Musical performed by the HHS drama club. The musical for this year - Fiddler on the Roof - will take place tonight, March 21st, at 7 PM, and again tomorrow, Saturday, March 22nd, at 2 PM and 7 PM. Come out to Havana High School and see this wonderful show! Go Ducks!

HS softball travels to DeeMack this afternoon. This game will now be a varsity-ONLY game (no JV innings) starting at 4:30 PM. The game will be played at Nunley Fields at Brock Lake in Mackinaw at the following address: 29550 East Hoffman Avenue, Mackinaw, IL 61755. Go Ducks!

HS Family & Consumer Science students are in their Foods Unit. They have been baking muffins, chocolate chip cookies and making pizzas! They will use almost every piece of equipment in the kitchen during this unit and an added bonus...they get to eat their final products. Go Ducks!
