Melvin Fornoff and Gavin Southwood read all 20 Blue Stem books this spring. As part of the Blue Stem 20 Club they were treated to lunch at McDonald's, ice cream at Peaches, and some playtime at Riverfront Park. Great job!
Audree McCorkle and Davis Snedeker were honored at the Central Illinois Valley Region of the Illinois Principals Association student recognition breakfast. Nine 4th grade students were nominated by their teachers and two students were selected by the entire NC staff. Congratulations to Audree and Davis!

Reminder...The Havana School District is excited to announce that Mason District Hospital will once again be providing FREE sports physicals for students this summer. Save the two following dates as options to get your child a sports physical for the 2023-24 school year...Thursday, June 15th and Thursday, June 23rd. Additional information can be found on the flyer attached to this post. A reminder that any student planning on participating in an extracurricular activity next school year must have a valid physical in order to participate.
