We are excited and happy to announce a new parent, guardian, student, and teacher communication feature that is being added to the district app. The new "ROOMS" feature will appear in the bottom right corner of the app screen once activated. From there, parents and students will be able to see their student's courses, class information, assignments, and directly message the teacher, like a chat or text message. There is already of lot of district information on the district app, but our goal was to make it a one stop shop. This new feature will allow parents to access all the usual information like the events calendar, menus, announcements, etc., but it will now be how they can access their students class information, see assignments, and reach out to the teacher with questions if needed as well.
Parents, guardians and students need to download the Havana Ducks app to their phones. Next week an email will be sent out with instructions to create a password for their account. Once that is complete, look for the rooms square in the bottom right hand corner of the screen while using the app. It is our hope to make it easier for parents to access information and communicate with teaches without having to use multiple platforms with multiple logins. We want everyone to be able to access everything they need in one place right from their phone.
